Get ready for Free Macaron Day on March 20

Participating pastry shops will be celebrating one of their finest (and most sought after) inhabitants on March 20th: the famous Macaron! Though it’s not yet a public holiday, we’re sure someone will lobby for the change, because they’re giving these treats away for free.

Macaron
Of course, the Pierre Hermé shops, who dreamt up this day five years ago, will be overcrowded by fans, just as Jean-Paul Hévin, Sadaharu Aoki or  Ladurée ‘s own pâtisseries.

I assume most of the CheckYourParis team will be standing in line to get one of these, I heard some of us just can’t resist… But let’s keep it between you and me.
